Are you a nurse?

I respect nurses, I really do. The world needs nurses as much as we need doctors, technicians, etc.

However, if another person asks me if I am a nurse, I am going to say something really, really, really mean.

May be the question is trying to tell you something that you don't want to hear. May be:
1- It is telling that you look kind and tender.
2- May be it is telling a vocation.
3- May be it is telling an attitude that you should change towards some persons....etc
Don't know but try to hear what the question wants to tell.

walaw zanzounito, men are doctors, women are nurses. this is what they taught us in our school books! :p

That is a nice way at looking at things, especially the question becoming a statement. That question, however, is never asked to our male volunteers, hence my frustration.

Eve, you and I are gonna join forces and tear down this gender discrimination once and for all :)

ladies, at least you enjoy the expression on their faces when you say "no, I'm a doctor" :)
