A in Amore is for Alleles

Every time a female chooses a male based on a trait, she perpetuates that allele that caused her to makes that choice and allows a male with a particular phenotype to perpetuate his allele.

With this in mind, the following are some phenotypes that female humans may consider when choosing a mate:

1) Personality-funny, witty, courageous, determined, sensitive, understanding, poetic, and intuitive

2) Appearance-tall, clear skin, proportionate body portions, hair on head, large eyes, endowed in private areas, straight teeth

3) Intelligence-conversations with deep subject matter, problem-solving abilities, and analytical skills

Disclaimer: Although these are some "ideal" traits, other less desirable traits are passed on. Females who are unable to acquire these traits for her offspring (for various reasons such as no mating skills, naivety, appearance, and/or career woman) will mate with men who express detrimental alleles, which continue to pollute our gene pool.
